Current Events Productions has been providing quality videography services for various Spring and Winter Productions produced by the Arts Association in Newton County’s Young Artists Programs since 2005. Teri and Chris Haler are talented and dedicated to producing a final product that is satisfactory and meaningful for their customers. In addition, they are easy to work with and most concerned about ongoing relationships, not a quick sale.

The Ewing Family Reunion has been held in Newton County for ninety five (95) years. We selected Current Events Productions to help us celebrate the 95th by producing a keepsake video on DVD that included the (2) day event. Chris Haler worked with us on Saturday and Sunday during the cooking of the whole hog and Brunswick stew. Teri Haler attended the Ewing Reunion on Sunday and recorded the family history for each family in attendance. The DVD was well received by all the Ewing family and friends as a result of the professional job that was completed by Current Events Productions.

We have been using Current Events Productions in Covington for two school (’08) years now. I can tell a big difference in the overall quality from when we did the recordings ourselves (and we have a great camera). Not only do we have annual events now documented and archived for history reference, but we can offer students, parents, and faculty the opportunity to have a dvd video they can keep and share with family and friends. They can quickly analyze each event space and get a great taping to portray it in the final version. I like the fact that there are more than one camera options and able to input sound directly into the video camera. In the past when we recorded ourselves, we had many ruined videos due to various mishaps such as surrounding audience sneezing, coughing, talking or even someone bumping into the camera during an event. It is also nice having them duplicate the dvd copies and handling the fulfilment orders. We are very pleased with Current Events professional services and will continue to use them for future performances.
